Shoosha is a Canada-based organic skincare brand, focusing on providing babies and kids with exceptionally safe and efficacious products for their skin and overall health.
In 2012, Patricia Di Gasbarro, a former corporate HR executive and Torontonian mom, was shocked to learn that by their second birthday babies could accumulate so much environmental toxins that their immune system would get damaged. Stunned by her findings, she set out to create skincare products that would be free from harmful synthetics and chemicals. She followed the highest organic standard in the world, USDA, and set out to raise the bar for babies’ skin care to reflect their special needs.
Two years later in 2014, Shoosha was born. With the entire line of skincare products meeting the USDA organic standards for food – containing at least 95% organic content, no synthetic preservatives or petrochemicals in cleansing ingredients – it’s practically food-grade.
Today, Shoosha’s footprint is found in Canada, US, China, Korea, Malaysia, United Emirates of Arab, and Europe through an extensive network of retailers. It is regularly featured by “Amazon’s choice” and is sold at your favorite supermarkets or baby stores like Costco, Wholefoods, Nature’s Emporium, Indigo, Babies R Us, Well.ca, Goodness Me!, West Coast Kids, and your neighborhood health stores.
In 2019, Shoosha was awarded “Best Organic Family Skincare Brand Canada” by Parent & Baby Awards.

Shoosha is the first brand in North America to boast an entire line of USDA certified organic skincare products. Why is organic so important to us?
In addition to being exceptionally safe compared to the conventional products, organic products are also more efficacious. Recent research suggests that the increased concentration of bioactive compounds in organic crops underpins the true benefits of organic crops. These heightened levels are attributed to the distinct growth conditions and stressors organic crops encounter, including nutrient deficiencies and the absence of pesticides. In response, organic crops synthesize higher levels of antioxidants, which offer valuable defense against free radicals in the human body.
Organic ingredients contain a greater quantity of essential bioactive components, and greater potency brings greater efficacy.
