We are initiating a voluntary recall of certain lots of Shoosha Organic Face & Body Lotion in the following variants:
- Organic Face & Body Lotion — Fragrance Free
- Organic Face & Body Lotion — French Lavender
Affected batch numbers (Expiration: February 2028):
2588301, 2588902, 2588402, 2588901
Batch number location: printed at the top/crimp of the tube.
Why we’re recalling
Out of an abundance of caution, we are recalling the lots listed above after receiving reports of an unexpected change in appearance, including visible growth, in a limited number of units. We have sent product samples for laboratory testing, and the recall will remain in effect while our investigation is underway.
What you should do now
- Stop using the product immediately if your batch number matches any of the affected batch numbers listed above.
- Request a full refund (details below).
Refund information
If you purchased from Shoosha.co (email-only refund)
Please email refund@shoosha.co with the subject line: “Recall Refund Request” and include:
- Order number
- Full name used on the order
- Email used on the order (shipping address optional, if needed to locate the order)
- Product variant (Fragrance Free or French Lavender)
- Batch number (printed at the top/crimp of the tube)
- Quantity affected
- Photo of the batch number (printed at the top/crimp of the tube)
Bundles: If the lotion was purchased as part of a discounted bundle, we will issue a prorated refund for the lotion portion based on the bundle price.
Our team will process refunds as quickly as possible. (Refund posting time varies by payment method and bank.)
If you purchased from another retailer
Please contact the retailer you purchased from to request your refund, as refunds will be processed directly by the original point of purchase.
If this was a gift
Please ask the purchaser to contact the original point of purchase for the refund. If you’re unable to identify the purchaser, please email refund@shoosha.co with a photo of the batch number and we will advise next steps.
