Shoosha is a Canada-based organic skincare brand, focusing on providing babies and kids with exceptionally safe and efficacious products for their skin and overall health.
In 2012, our founder Patricia Di Gasbarro was shocked to learn that by their second birthday, babies can be exposed to enough environmental toxins to potentially impact their developing immune systems. She set out to create a radically safe brand for babies â and two years later, Shoosha was born.
All of our products meet USDA organic food standards: at least 95% organic content, no GMOs, no pesticides or herbicides, and no synthetic preservatives, fragrances, or petrochemicals â theyâre practically food-grade.
Today, Shoosha continues to evolve â from its roots in baby care to serving people of all ages with skin barrier needs. Guided by a deep respect for the skinâs immune function, our formulations support skin as the bodyâs largest organ and first line of defense. Theyâre gentle enough to trust around babies, yet powerful enough to help protect and repair. In 2025, Shooshaâs organic lotion and body wash were officially certified by EWG.
Shooshaâs footprint is found in Canada, US, China, Korea, Malaysia, United Emirates of Arab, and Europe through an extensive network of retailers. In 2019, Shoosha was awarded âBest Organic Family Skincare Brand Canadaâ by Parent & Baby Awards.
Recent research suggests that the increased concentration of bioactive compounds in organic crops underpins the true benefits of organic food. These heightened levels are attributed to the distinct growth conditions and stressors organic crops encounter, including nutrient deficiencies and the absence of pesticides. In response, organic crops synthesize higher levels of antioxidants, which not only support crop growth but also offer valuable defense against free radicals in the human body.
In essence, organic crops exhibit a higher bioactive density. Many individuals have personally observed the superior effects of organic skincare products over "natural" or "botanic" alternatives despite their inability to pin point the reason. While they may share the same name, organic ingredients contain a greater quantity of essential bioactive components, and greater potency brings greater efficacy.

My niece and I like this product very much, it is very friendly to our skin. Even the eczema on my motherâs feet was not cured by the medicine prescribed by the family doctor, but it was cured after trying to apply shoosha lotion 4 times, and it has not recurred until now. The only drawback is that it is packaged in a tube and it is difficult to squeeze out the lotion at the end of use.
This lotion is silky smooth, and has the most pleasant gentle scent!
Not greasy and so moisturizing! I have been using this lotion for years and I am not a baby. Great for adults too :)

I have super sensitive skin and canât use anything but Shoosha Wash and Shampoo. I am not a baby, I am 35 years young, but was told by a doctor I had immune deficiency disorder years ago, I researched and found Shoosha unscented and have been ordering it for years now, and Itâs cleared up all skin irritations I was dealing with! Also Canadian product. I will be a lifetime customer.
